A 45-degree saddle cope for 1.5" OD DOM 1020 tube with .083" wall thickness. Angled copes are more complex than a straight 90-degree intersection — the cut profile becomes a longer, more elliptical shape, making accurate layout by hand difficult without a template. Open this project to see the full cope geometry, then generate and print a full-scale template to wrap around your tube as a cut guide. This joint is common in diagonal bracing, A-arm tabs, chassis gussets, and anywhere a tube meets a main member at an angle. DOM 1020 mild steel's tight OD tolerance means the template wraps and aligns cleanly every time.
